The moment they anointed Ignatieff as leader, we were screwed. Harper may style himself after Cheney (he's too cold and calculating to ever pull off a folksy Bush) but Ignatieff is nothing more than a Lieberman Democrat. Meanwhile Canadians are saddled with two wannabe US politicians modeled on the worst the US has on offer.

I was at my GPC riding meetin' a couplafew weeks ago an' a coupla folks wondered if we was gonna have another election right away and were we ready. I told 'em Iggy'd figure a way to accept the budget and we won't have an election until fall, at the earliest. I'm stickin' with that.
