About Tonight's (Last) Presidential Debate ...
Just to let you know good folks that I won't be semi-live blogging this final Presidential debate - in contrast to previous ones.
I am still recuperating from a tonsillectomy (last Saturday; yup) and need to turn in early so that I am able to get up "bright eyed" and return to work tomorrow (which will be quite the experience, considering that I can't yet talk - pain, inflammation, my jaw having had to be dislocated in order to perform the surgery *and* "doctor's orders" preventing me from even trying to speak until Friday at the earliest).
On the bright side, I haven't gorged myself so much with ice cream since I was a kid. On an additional downside, I'm am getting sick and tired ofeating sipping broths and blendered meals, and lukewarm coffee (although wine and even beer remain most enjoyable ...).
That'll teach me for getting tonsillitis at the mature age of 45 ...
(sheesh!)
In any case, I'll of course put forth my (ahem) point of view on Teh Last Debate tomorrow. However, I'll go out on a limb here (heh) and predict yet another victory for Obama, with McCain looking even more the old, angry, frustrated and erratic old man.
Any bet takers in the house?
;-)

Man that sucks hope you're feeling better really soon.
ReplyDeleteI didn't watch the debate but I would say the winner is the one who can stand on policy not smear.
AR: "I would say the winner is the one who can stand on policy not smear"
ReplyDeleteHeh - indeedy.
That would be *competence*, as opposed to incompetence ... ;-)
