90 Minutes Into "Le Débat des Chefs"

Harper is sounding pathetic with his same old talking points and outright, ah, stretching of facts (the shaking of heads of all other four whenever he fibs, obfuscate or, ah, dissemble, is priceless).

Harper is being roundly beaten on all issues - economy, environment, negative campaigning (wow - was he ever rebuked and punked by the other four on that one - so much so, he looked like that guy who kept thinkg "lemme leave now, please!"), even on crime.

I have to sat that when Duceppe is at his best, he truly is an inspiring statesman - like he is tonight. Too bad he,s leader of the BQ ...

Dion is, to put in succintly, impressive as well.

Layton has begun to slack off somewhat, becoming more evasive in his answers instead of earlier on, when he would nail point after point.

May is a great disappointement for me so far - she's outshined by everybody else ... even including harper, fer gawdsakes ...

Nevertheless, Harper is being schooled on every issue - every one - mainly by Duceepe, Dion and Layton.

Then again - when you have no record to run on, that is what happens - especially when all you do is regurgitate your feeble talking points and disinformations.

Dare I say "incompetent"?
